Elaine

Elaine has been a stylist for 20 years, and the owner for 15 years. She attended Signature Beauty College during her junior and senior years of high school, allowing her to get licensed right after graduation. She loves doing dry cuts, and experimenting with different hair colors and trends. Making people feel good about themselves is her main goal and best part of her career.

Stephanie

A Clare native and beauty school graduate in 2004 Stephanie started putting her Cosmetology degree to use. Growing up in the salon business allowed her to observe and assist with professionals who encouraged her to pursue her passion for nails and skin care. She delights in hair color techniques and corrective services specific to each individual’s needs.

Emalee

Emalee’s Started her hair cosmetology training in June 2023 at MJ Murphy Mt. Pleasant MI. Once her courses are completed Emalee will be a great addition to our team at Elaine’s this fall! I love being creative, and this industry reflects that passion. Especially when this type of work can help other people. Enhancing people's natural beauty and actually creating something that builds confidence is an important part of why I love this industry.

Cooper

Cooper joined our team the summer of 2025. She wants to go to either Douglas J Institute in East Lansing or MJ Murphy in Mt. Pleasant. She loves all animals except for bugs and loves to hang out with her friends. She likes to say that the salon is her second home.
